Royal Kesar Pista Kulfi

Ingredients to make Royal Kesar Pista Kulfi

  • 1 litre of full fat milk
  • 30 kesar (saffron) threads dissolved in 2 spoons of milk
  • 2 tsp of Pistachio flakes
  • 1/4 th tsp Green cardamom powder
  • 4 - 6 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 tsp of cornflour dissolved in 2 spoons of water

How to make Royal Kesar Pista Kulfi

  1. Start by boiling the milk. When it is boiling, add the pistachio and soaked kesar (saffron)
  2. Simmer and continue boiling. When it starts to thicken, add sugar, cardamom powder and cornflour. Mix well for 2-3 minutes and then switch off the gas.
  3. Let it cool, then put it in the kulfi moulds. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Kulfi is ready. Unmould and enjoy!

My Tip:

This should be served with a Faluda to make it even more decadent.
