Ingredients to make Ragda patties

  • ing. For ragda-White mutter-1cup socked overnight
  • Ginger garlic paste-2teaspoon
  • Onion-2paste
  • Tomato-2puree
  • Red chilly powder-1/2teaspoon
  • Chaat masala-1/2teaspoon
  • Oil-2tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chutney-(coriander leaves 1 bunch +peanuts 1handfull+salt to taste+coriander powder-1/4teaspoon+juice of half lemon+green chilly 2
  • Tamarind chutney-tamarind 2tablespoon+jaggeri 1 tablespoon+salt+water
  • Garam masala-1/4teaspoon
  • Red food colour-2drops
  • Ing.for patties-boil and mash potato-4-5
  • Coriander leave -2teaspoon
  • Grern chilly-2chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Cornflour-2teaspoon
  • Oil-2teaspoon

How to make Ragda patties

  1. Pressure cook the mutter by adding salt and red food colour for 2whistles till mutter soften
  2. Take a mixer jaar add all green cutney ing.and make a coarse paste
  3. Heat 1glass of water in a pan add all tamarind chutney ing. and bring it to boil for 10 to 12 minuts
  4. Heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute
  5. Add onion paste and saute till light brown
  6. Add tomato puree , all dry masala and salt and cook till oil separate
  7. Add boil mutter and 1 glass of water
  8. Add 1 tablespoon of green chutney and 1 tablespoon of tamarind chutney.
  9. Cook for 5 minutes on slow flam
  10. Take a bowl add boil and mash potato.add all pattie ing.and make dought
  11. Make patties with dought and shellow fry on nonstick tawa
  12. Take a serving plate.place patties.pour ragda over to patties spread some green and turmind chutney.garnish with sev.
