ABOUT cassata icecream RECIPE

in this icecream I have used fresh fruits like lychees,cherrys,basically this is layered icecream with vanilla cake,everything homemade,first layer is cake then lychee icecream,then again cake then pink layer of cherry icecream,then yellow layer of butterscotch icecreame with truity fruity,then plain vanilla icecream layer topped with almond flakes and pistachio flakes

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. ingredients for vanilla cake-----
  2. 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 tsp Baking powder
  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  6. Pinch of salt
  7. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  8. 1/4 cup Curd
  9. 1/2 cup Milk
  10. 1/4 cup oil
  11. greased container for cake
  12. ingredients for icecream ----------
  13. 1 /2 kg of cream
  14. 1/2 can milkmaid
  15. fresh cherrys deseeded and chopped
  16. fresh lychees deseed and chopped
  17. Truity fruity 1 tbsp
  18. 1 tbsp almond flakes
  19. 1 tbsp pistachio flakes
  20. butterscotch essence 1/2 tsp
  21. Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  22. Rose essence 1/2 tsp
  23. Pinch of yellow colour
  24. Pinch of red colour
  25. four container to set icecream

Instructions

  1. we will divide our work in two parts
  2. first day we will make icecream
  3. second day make cake and assemble
  4. process for icecream------
  5. whip cream till peak are formed
  6. add condensed milk and just give fold
  7. do not overmix
  8. divide it into 4 parts
  9. process for cherry icecream----
  10. in one part add red colour
  11. add cherrys
  12. add rose essence
  13. give nice fold and pour in container
  14. keep it in deep freezer
  15. process for lychee icecream----
  16. add lychee in 2 nd part of whip cream
  17. add vanilla essence
  18. fold it and pour in container
  19. keep in deep freezer
  20. process for butterscotch icecream----
  21. add truity fruity in 3rd part
  22. add butterscotch essence
  23. add yellow color fold it
  24. pour in container
  25. deep freeze it
  26. fourth part of whipped cream just add
  27. vanilla essence and give fold
  28. keep in deep freezer
  29. keep all container overnight in freezer
  30. or keep for at least 7-8 hours
  31. now we will make cake---------
  32. in a bowl take all purpose flour
  33. add powdeered sugar
  34. add baking powder
  35. add baking soda
  36. add salt
  37. in other bowl take curd
  38. add vanilla essence
  39. add milk
  40. add oil whisk wet ingredients
  41. add all wet ingredients to dry ingredients
  42. mix with spatula
  43. pour in greased tin
  44. bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven
  45. temprature will be 160 degrees
  46. cool down cake completely
  47. process of assembling---------
  48. remove plain vanilla icecream
  49. keep ready container in which you have
  50. to assemble icecream
  51. spread a platic cling film at the bottom of
  52. container
  53. spread little almond and pistachio flakes
  54. spread plain vanilla icecream
  55. keep it in freezer for half an hour
  56. remove and spread butterscotch layer
  57. again keep in freezer for half an hour
  58. remove and spread butterscotch icecream
  59. again keep for half an hour in freezer
  60. now remove and keep long piece of cake
  61. spread lychee icecream over it
  62. keep in freezer for half an hour
  63. again keep other pieces of cake
  64. cover with cling film and keep container
  65. in deep freezer for at least 3-4 hours
  66. now remove container
  67. gently remove whole icecream with film
  68. remove cling film and cut into pieces
  69. enjoy cassata icecream
