Ingredients to make Beetroot Jujubes

  • beetroot-1medium
  • Sugar-1cup
  • agar-agar-2tsp
  • lemon juice-1/4. tsp
  • icing sugar & coconut powder3tlbs

How to make Beetroot Jujubes

  1. Soak 2 Tsp Agar Agar powder in 1 cup of hot water for 10 mins
  2. Boil 1/2 cup of water. Add sugar and keep stirring till the sugar dissolves. Once the sugar has fully dissolved add the agar agar soaked water and keep stirring for 15 mins.
  3. Let it boil. You will see the liquid becomes slightly thick and sticky.Switch off the stove
  4. Add the lemon juice and beetrootpuree
  5. Mix well and pour it in a container and let it set overnight.
  6. cut it into desired shapes and size and roll them in icing sugar and desiccated coconutKeep it in a air tight container.
