ABOUT Eggs in the Nest RECIPE

A starter ,a snack and can also be used in a curry .Though its a self created dish I used this finally as a starter.Paneer and corn creamy and rich ingredients ,very healthy and tasty are the main ingredients. A vegetarian Egg formed,.Subtly fried shallow !Placed in a nest of grated Seasoned beetroot .Ready to enjoy. I made these for Iftar.Lovely melt in the mouth snack

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grams paneer
  2. 1 cup corn
  3. 1 slice cheese
  4. 2 small beetroot
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tsp pepper
  7. 2 -3 tblspn cornflour
  8. Oil to shallow fry
  9. I tblspn oilve oil
  10. 1 tspn vinegar
  11. 1 green chilli optional

Instructions

  1. Grate paneer if hard and mash it well,if using malai paneer mash well only like a dough
  2. Add a few pieces of slice cheese into this mash ,
  3. Add 1tblspn of cornflour to this
  4. Boil corn and crush in mixer well,season with little salt and pepper
  5. Both paneer mash and corn are ready to make small balls of
  6. Make bigger paneer balls and smaller corn mash balls
  7. Grease the dish as you keep them
  8. Now grease your palm, press a paneer ball in center to form a shallow well
  9. Add the corn ball into this and close lightly
  10. Heat oil to shallow fry and put two or 3 at a time to turn softly
  11. Roll the balls in cornflour and dust ,start frying
  12. Fry golden keep aside
  13. Grate beet root fresh ,add olive oil and vinegar to this & mix well
  14. Place the Veggie Eggs on this ,Serve and enjoy
  15. Break open when hot, it's look is awesome and the taste heavenly
