ABOUT Beet-tomato soup RECIPE

Beet-tomato soup is very much healthy with vitamins and antioxidants.it gives awesome flavor and I love the colour of soup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 small beet 2 tomatoes
  2. 1-2 Garlic cloves
  3. 1 tsp Rock Salt
  4. 1 cup or more water
  5. 1 small ginger chopped
  6. 5-6 crushed garlic
  7. 1tsp pepper
  8. 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  9. Finely chopped fresh green coriander
  10. 1 tbsp fresh cream
  11. Croutons

Instructions

  1. Peel the beetroot and dice them.
  2. Roughly chop the tomatoes and ginger.
  3. Pressure cook everything above adding water for 2 whistles .
  4. After cools down , grind the mixture in smooth paste/puree.
  5. On medium flame add the puree to a pan or pot.
  6. Add grated garlic , salt , pepper add more water if desired . Add sugar too.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes .
  8. Serving time top it with chopped coriander ,fresh cream and croutons.
