Rava Idli Cake

Ingredients to make Rava Idli Cake

  • 1 cup Rava
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar powder
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 2 tablespoon dryfruits
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardmom powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon tutti frutti
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2-3 drop vanilla essence

How to make Rava Idli Cake

  1. In a bowl mix all ingredients together except baking powder to rest for 15 -20 minutes
  2. Greased the idli maker with oil
  3. Prepare the pressure cooker, boil 2 cup of water
  4. After 20 minutes add baking powder, baking soda and salt
  5. Pour the batter into greased idli stand ,on top sprinkle few tutti frutti and dry fruits
  6. Place the idli stand in the pressure cooker, remove the whistle from the lid
  7. Bake the cake on slow flame for 20 -25 minutes
  8. Use a knife and check, if it clean then cake is ready
  9. Soft and moist rava idli cake is ready to serve
