Ingredients to make Kunafa

  • 500 grm pheni
  • 650 grm milk chenna
  • 3-4 tsp condensed milk
  • 150 grm butter
  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp tomato red food colour
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 15-10 pistachio sliced

How to make Kunafa

  1. In a large bowl mashed chenna add condensed milk and fresh cream in it and mix well and cook it till liquid dries.
  2. melt the butter,break the pheni in large mixing bowl add melted butter and food colour in it and mix well.
  3. Grease the tin and add the half of pheni and press down firmly.
  4. Now spred chenna mixture evenly over it.
  5. Add remaning pheni on the top and again press firmly.bake it for 20 min at 150-170* at preheated oven.
  6. In a pan add sugar and water and cook for 5 min,now close the flame and add rose water in it and keep aside it.
  7. when pheni mixture is baked add the sugar syrup on the top,while it's hot,leave for atleast 10 min to set.
  8. when set garnish with sliced pistachio,serve and enjoy it.
My Tip: If need different taste add cream cheese in place of chenna and condensed milk.Choice is your's.
