Andhra Spicy Fried Bhindi....

Ingredients to make Andhra Spicy Fried Bhindi....

  • Lady'sfinger or Okra 30
  • Gram flour or besan 1/2 cup
  • Garlic cloves 4
  • Peanuts roasted and powdered 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
  • turmeric a pinch
  • Grated coconut 3 tbsp
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds roasted 1 tsp
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying

How to make Andhra Spicy Fried Bhindi....

  1. Wash and pat dry the okra.
  2. This step is very important. Otherwise the okra will be slimy.
  3. Remove the seeds and the white skin inside it.
  4. Cut them into thin juliennes.
  5. Heat oil and fry the bhindi until crisp.
  6. Set it aside.
  7. In a pan, dry roast all the ingredients mentioned and make a coarse powder of it.
  8. The gram flour also should be roasted well.
  9. Add this powdered spice mix to the okra and mix well.
  10. Serve this with plain rice or eat it as it is for the evening snack.
