ABOUT Pyaz ki subzi RECIPE

This is an easy and delicious way of eating onions, in just an onion curry to be served with some chapathi or roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 12 to 15 baby onions
  2. 1 tsp chilli powder
  3. 1tsp coariander powder
  4. 1tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
  5. 3/4 tsp aamchur powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the chilli powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds, amchur and salt in a bowl with 3/4 tbsp of water and keep aside.
  2. Roughly chop the onions or leave it whole . Heat the oil in a non-stick pan,
  3. add the onions and cook over a slow flame for 7 to 8 minutes till the onions have softened and are lightly browned
  4. Add the masala paste to it mix well and simmer it 5 more minutes .Serve hot with chapati and a glass of mint lassi
