Ingredients to make Khooba roti

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbs ghee
  • Approximately 1/3 water to knead
  • Ghee for applying

How to make Khooba roti

  1. Mix flour, cumin PWD, salt and ghee together and knead soft and pliable dough.
  2. Rest this dough for 1/2 hr after 1/2 hr knead it softly. And make a round Ball.
  3. Place it on rolling stone and dust it with flour.
  4. Make a round roti with the thickness of around 1 Inch.
  5. Hot the tawa to medium hot.. place the roti over it and heat it for 1 minute from one side.
  6. Now turn the other side and make notches from one end to the centre and slowly make it crispy on both the sides
  7. This roti take about 10 to 12 minutes to bake..
  8. After this apply generous amount of ghee over it and enjoy it with ur rich gravy dish or chilli pickle or chutney..ur khubaa roti is ready.
My Tip: Slowly bake this roti on slow fire to make it crispy
