Kanda pooha

Ingredients to make Kanda pooha

  • 1 large chopped onion
  • Mota pooha
  • Green chilli 2
  • Potato 1 peeled and cubed
  • sugar 1tsp
  • Lemon juice 2tbsp
  • Curry leaves 5/6
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Sev bhujia 1 cup
  • Roasted peanuts half cup coarsely grounded
  • Salt to taste

How to make Kanda pooha

  1. Take a wok .add 1 tbsp oil .
  2. To it add Curry leaves and onion .saute for 3/4 minute
  3. Now add the potatoes and Green chilli and fry till it is soft n tender .
  4. Now add the presoaked and drained pooha to it .
  5. Add lemon juice, salt, sugar to it and toss well
  6. Finally before serving add the corainder ,peanuts and sev bhujia and serve hot with masala chai
My Tip: I also add fried cashew,almond and raisin to it to give a royal touch
