Ingredients to make Onion karele rings

  • Bitterguard i.e karele 250 gram
  • Onions 3..4
  • 1 Raw mango
  • Oil 4 Tsp
  • Fennel seeds grinded 3..4 tespoon
  • Dhania powder 2teaspoon
  • Salt 1and 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/2teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Asoefodia 1/4teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2teaspoon

How to make Onion karele rings

  1. Cut the karele in rings
  2. Chop onions and peeled raw mango together in chopper
  3. Take a vok
  4. Add half of the oil in it
  5. Add chopped karele in it
  6. Sprinkle half ysp salt in it
  7. cover it with a lid and slow down the flame
  8. Cook for 5 minutes
  9. Now inhe ek pot mei nikal le
  10. Add remained oil in it
  11. Add heeng and jeera
  12. Add onions and mango paste
  13. Saute for 2 minutes
  14. Add cooked karele in it
  15. Again cook for 2 minutes
  16. Turn off the flame
  17. Serve hot with chapati
My Tip: May add half teaspoon of sugar ..i add to balance the bitter and sour taste
