Flax Seed Chutney Pudi

Ingredients to make Flax Seed Chutney Pudi

  • 1 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup Urad dal
  • 1/2 Cup Channa Dal
  • 3/4 cup ground nut
  • 1/3 cup dry coconut/ kobri grated
  • Salt as required
  • Jaggery as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon methi
  • 2 teaspoon white til seeds
  • 15 - 17 byadagi red chilli
  • few curry leaves

How to make Flax Seed Chutney Pudi

  1. On a low flame dry roast all the ingredients separately until light brown or until it splutters with aroma (except salt and jaggery).
  2. Cool it completely. Grind it to a powder form. (Grind it coarsely or fine powder as per your liking. I grinded it to fine powder).
  3. Transfer it to a air tight container and use.

My Tip:

Use dry spoon. While roasting do not burn the ingredients. Roast it on low flame. Can add tamarind while grinding.
