ABOUT Flax Seed Chutney Pudi RECIPE

Regular chutney pudi dish with a twist of health. Flax seed has high fibre. Helps in clearing constipation problem, keeps tummy full so weight loss can be achieved, lowers cholestrol.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup flax seeds
  2. 1/2 cup Urad dal
  3. 1/2 Cup Channa Dal
  4. 3/4 cup ground nut
  5. 1/3 cup dry coconut/ kobri grated
  6. Salt as required
  7. Jaggery as per taste
  8. 1/2 teaspoon methi
  9. 2 teaspoon white til seeds
  10. 15 - 17 byadagi red chilli
  11. few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. On a low flame dry roast all the ingredients separately until light brown or until it splutters with aroma (except salt and jaggery).
  2. Cool it completely. Grind it to a powder form. (Grind it coarsely or fine powder as per your liking. I grinded it to fine powder).
  3. Transfer it to a air tight container and use.
