Ingredients to make Pearl onions

  • Onions 15 small size
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
  • Onions fry paste 2 tbs
  • Lime juice 2 tbs
  • Oil 3 tbs
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Dhaniya powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 3 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbs
  • Whole jeera 2 tsp
  • Bay leaves 2 peics
  • Salt to taste

How to make Pearl onions

  1. Remove onion' skin and wash . Heat oil in a pan ,add jeera , after add Ginger garlic paste sauté 1 minutes than add fry Onions paste, tomato paste, Ginger garlic paste,and all spices , sauté 2 to 3 minutes. After add onion and sauté 2 minutes more ,than add lime juice ,mix well and cover and cook on medium flame , until onions becomes soft. In between check onions and turn other side. ( If needed water add little water). After 15 /20 minutes , onions cook properly and all water is dry than add garam masala powder mix well and turn off the flame. Serve and enjoy.
My Tip: No need toomuch water
