Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion - 2
  2. Green chillies - 2 chopped
  3. Few Curry leaves finely chopped
  4. Few Coriander leaves finely chopped
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Chilli powder - 1 tsp or as per your preference
  7. Gram Flour - ¼ cup
  8. Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  9. Water as required
  10. Oil for deep frying - ½-1 cup

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and finely slice them. In a mixing bowl add the onions, chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt, chilli powder and mix well with your hands.
  2. Now add in gram flour and rice flour and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle little at a time and mix well till it gets into a kind of thick crumbly dough. Please note we do not require much water so be careful while adding the water.
  4. In a deep frying pan heat oil. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat and take small portion of  the pakora mix and drop them in the oil and fry on low-medium heat till golden and crisp.
  5. Drain into paper towels and serve hot as it with tea or any chutney of your choice.
