ABOUT Chicken Do Pyaza RECIPE

Chicken Do Pyaza is a North Indian Dish. It is creamy, sweet and sour in taste, healthier than many other chicken dishes prepared in indian way. Many people confuse Do Pyaza by adding double the quantity of onions. However, the name originally came because this recipe requires only 2 onions (preferably big ones). The recipe just looks lengthy . However, once you have all ingredients on your kitchen counter, a lip smacking dish will be ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. What You Need For Marination:
  2. Chicken 1 kg cut into small pieces
  3. Curd 1 cup
  4. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  5. Everest Tandoori Masala 2 tsp
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  7. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  8. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  9. What you need for Gravy:
  10. Onions 2 big chopped finely
  11. Tomato Puree 4 big size
  12. Everest Garam Masala 1 tbsp
  13. oil 2 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Sugar 1 tsp
  16. What you need for Tempering:
  17. Ghee 1 tsp
  18. Green chili 1 chopped finely
  19. Kasuri methi 1 tbsp crushed
  20. Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp Chopped
  21. Full Cream 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add onion and cook till it turns brown.
  3. Add tomato puree,cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chicken marination to it. Mix gently.
  5. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.
  6. Open lid, add Everest garam masala, salt and sugar to taste.
  7. Cover and cook again for 4-5 minutes.
  8. Heat ghee in a separate pan.
  9. Add chopped green chilies, kasuri methi and coriander leaves.
  10. Add cream to it.
  11. Add this tempering to chicken and mix well.
  12. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  13. Switch off flame and take out on a serving bowl.
