Instant Masala vada

Ingredients to make Instant Masala vada

  • Gram dall 1 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 spoon
  • Green chilly 1 medium size
  • Onions 1/2 cup chopped
  • Coriander leaves 3 spoons
  • Curry leaves 1 stem chopped
  • Salt
  • Fennel seeds
  • Garam masala 1/4 spoon
  • Hot water 2 cups
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • Ajwain / omam a pinch (optional)

How to make Instant Masala vada

  1. Add the dall in hot water, close and wait for 15 mins.
  2. After 15 mins strain the dall . Add the dall in food processor grind coarsly.
  3. Transfer the dall in a mixing bowl and now add rest of the ingredients in food processor.
  4. And grind to paste. Add this to dall. And mix well.
  5. Make small balls, slightly press on the top like disc shape. Deep fry and serve hot.
