Ingredients to make Manchow soup

  • 400 ml water
  • 1 medium onion/ spring onion(chopped)
  • 1 medium cabage
  • 1 medium capsicum
  • 2 medium carrot(finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp finrly chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 3 green chilli(chopped)
  • Punch of black papaer.
  • 3 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Fry noodles

How to make Manchow soup

  1. Heat the oil in a non stick kadai on a high flame till it smokes.Add the garlic, ginger and green chillies and saute on a high flame for a few seconds.
  2. Add the cabbage, onion, capsicum, carrots and saute on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the water, mix well and cook on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stiring occasionally.
  4. Add the salt, soya sauce, mix well and cook on a high flame for another 2 minutes, while stirring well.
  5. Add the prepared cornflour paste, mix well and cook on a high flame for 2 to 3 more minutes, while stirring
  6. Add the black pepper powder and mix well.Serve immediately topped with fried noodles.
