whenever i hv empty refridgerator, no mutton,chicken,fish..i tilt to cook a yummy dish with egg..and the duck egg is super tasty..As egg curry is a common dish for every bengali kitchen,but this recipe is different from that with super spicy and wonderful taste that no onecan forget..

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. duck egg 5
  2. potatoes 3 cut in halves
  3. finely sliced onion 3 big size
  4. turmeric 2 tspn
  5. kashmiri redchilly pwdr 1tspn
  6. Salt
  7. sugar
  8. Musturd oil
  9. Bay leaves
  10. bengali garam masala paste
  11. garlic pods 12,pasted
  12. make a paste with-
  13. ginger 3"
  14. Red chilly 4
  15. Green chilly 2
  16. pepper corn 6
  17. cumin 1 tspn
  18. Coriander 1 tspn

Instructions

  1. wash the eggs and potatoes very well,add salt in water at a pan with lid. boiled the eggss and potatoes. make sure the egg should boiled hard. keep the skin of the potatoes so that it should not be over boiled.
  2. keep out the skin of potatoes and eggs. make slit on eggs..add turmeric to them and deep fry in oil in batches..
  3. keep aside
  4. add more oil to wok,heat it then add half of the onions,fry it till brown and crispy and keep aside ( keep the root of the onion out first while cutting it,it make u help to get fine beresta)
  5. now add rest of onion,fry till it's volor will turn pinkish. add bay leaves
  6. add thd paste,garlic paste,,salt,saute it well then add turmeric,red chilly pwdr,
  7. saute till the oil comes out from side,then add fried potatoes and eggs,fry with the spices well
  8. add lukewarm water,mix it well.
  9. bring into a boil cover it with lid for 5 min.
  10. open it, add sugar, mix it well,boil till u get the disired consistency.
  11. add garam masala paste mix well. keep in cover for few min
  12. add the beresta, mix it.. add some more beresta ovet the top.
  13. serve with rice,parantha,ruti
