Ingredients to make Batata vada

  • For potato Ball
  • 6 potato boil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp chilly ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Kanda lahsun masala
  • salt
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • For BATAR
  • 2 cup gram flore
  • salt
  • 1 tspRed chilly Powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • water ass per need
  • oil for fry

How to make Batata vada

  1. Boil the potatoes, peel and mash them.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan, add asafoetida or hing.
  3. Add Chilly, Ginger Garlic Paste And Saute
  4. Add Kanda Lahsun Masala And Saute It
  5. Add salt and Garam Masala to the mashed potatoes.
  6. Add Onions MAsala MIx to the Potato mixture and mix , then make roundels out of the potato mix.
  7. Add Chilly Powder , salt,baking soda,Turmeric and water to make a batter of thick consistency.
  8. Dip the potato mash balls into the batter, and drop them into the hot oil to deep fry them.
  9. Fry them until golden brown, strain and serve them hot with chutney.
