Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Nylon sabudana 4 tbsp
  2. Fried chana dal 2 tbsp
  3. Groundnuts 2 tbsp
  4. Dry grapes/ raisins 2 tbsp.
  5. Curry leaves 10-12 nos
  6. Powdered Sugar 1 Tsp
  7. chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. salt as per taste
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep kadai.
  2. When the oil is hot add nylon sabudana in batches of 1 tbsp each.
  3. Fry them on high flame or they will turn soggy.
  4. Take out the fried sabudana in a mixing bowl.
  5. Now in the same oil add the fried chana dal. Take them out in the mixing bowl once they change their color slightly.
  6. Now add groundnuts and fry them. Take them out in the same mixing bowl.
  7. Fry the dry grapes or raisins.
  8. Switch off the flame and add the curry leaves. Fry till they turn brittle.
  9. Now in the mixing bowl, add powdered sugar, salt and chilli powder and mix well.
  10. Sabudana chivda is ready to be served.
