Ingredients to make Green peas pulav

  • Basmati rice 2 cups
  • Green Peas 1 cup
  • Cashews handful
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion thinly sliced
  • Khada masala - dalchini, Elaichi, badi Elaichi, bay leaves
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • water 4 cups
  • Salt
  • Sugar 1 tbsp

How to make Green peas pulav

  1. First wash the rice and drain it. Leave it aside for 20 min.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add khada masala to it
  3. Then add onions and sauté
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté
  5. Next add peas, cashews and fry little.
  6. Now add rice to it and sauté for 2 min
  7. Now add water, salt and sugar. Bring it to boil.
  8. Cover with lid and cook for 10 min on high heat. Then simmer and cook for another 5 min.
  9. Serve hot
My Tip: You can also add paneer cubes to make it more delicious
