Ingredients to make Nankhatai/Cookies

  • maida -1kg
  • ghee -750gm
  • sugar -500-750gm
  • baking soda -1/2 tablespoon
  • Baking powder - 1 tablespoon

How to make Nankhatai/Cookies

  1. 1-Beat ghee & add sugar powder in it & beat till it becomes soft & fluffy.
  2. 2-Seive maida than add baking powder & baking soda mix well.
  3. 3-Add maida & knead till the dough becomes soft than make small balls from dough.
  4. 4-Place the balls in a baking tray keep some space between them as they will expand.
  5. 5-Bake them in a pre heated oven at 180 degree for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. 6-After baking let them cool than store it in air tight container.
