ABOUT Quick Rava Idli RECIPE

Here is a quick and equally tasty version of idlis made with semolina. Since the Batter requires no fermentation, this recipe is a quick-fix!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina (Rava)- 2 cups
  2. Yogurt- 1 cupSalt to taste
  3. Eno- 1 pouch (1 tbsp)
  4. Water as required for batter

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients - semolina, yogurt, salt and water together in a bowl.
  2. keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Add Eno pouch and mix it gently.
  4. Pour spoonful of batter into greased idli moulds and steam for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
