Ingredients to make Quick Rava Idli

  • semolina (Rava)- 2 cups
  • yogurt- 1 cupSalt to taste
  • Eno- 1 pouch (1 tbsp)
  • water as required for batter

How to make Quick Rava Idli

  1. Combine all the ingredients - semolina, yogurt, salt and water together in a bowl.
  2. keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Add Eno pouch and mix it gently.
  4. Pour spoonful of batter into greased idli moulds and steam for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.

My Tip:

If you choose, you can make it in two batches. The batter can be prepared all at once; however, you must add the Eno just prior to pouring into the idli stand.
