ABOUT Mini Onion lasagna with caramelised onions RECIPE

I took this inspiration from baigan(egg plant) lasagna that my mom has made once.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onions (big in size) -2
  2. Paneer - 1/2 cup
  3. Tomato sauce(of your own choice)
  4. Capcicum -1/2 cup
  5. oregano
  6. mushroom -1/2 cup
  7. Cheese( Mozzarella)
  8. white til(sesame seeds) - 1 tea spoon
  9. honey- 1 tea spoon
  10. Garlic- 1/2 tea spoon (chopped )
  11. Red chilli powder -1/2 tea spoon
  12. Sugar -1/2 tea spoon
  13. Oil-1 table spoon

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions into thin round slices, simultaneously grate cheese and paneer, chop capsicum and slice Mushrooms.
  2. In a mini mould or baking tray put a slice of onion on top of that put Paneer, mushroom, capsicum, sauce and then put cheese. Again put a slice of onion and all the ingredients. Repeat the process for 3-4 times (as per your mould size) .
  3. On top sprinkle some oregano and bake the lasagna for about 20 minutes in a preheated over at 180 degrees.
  4. Now make the caramelised onion ready by heating some oil on pan and put sesame seeds, garlic, onions(thin sliced ), red chilli powder , sugar and honey.
  5. Stir well, and put two spoons of cornflour and water mixture.
  6. Serve the way you want with your favourite chutney to give it a desi tadka.
