Ingredients to make Onion uttapam

  • 1/2cup suji
  • 1/2cup curd
  • 1/2cup Water
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/2tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2tsp oil
  • 2tsp oil for frying
  • 1 tsp chopped green chilies
  • 2 onion cut in to fine strips

How to make Onion uttapam

  1. In a bowl mix suji curd water nd make a fine thik paste.
  2. Add salt nd baking soda nd mix it
  3. Hot 1/2tsp oil nd put mustard seeds .when it cracking add into battar nd mix again.
  4. Rest battar for 10 minutes.
  5. Now heat a non stick tava .
  6. Put 2 big spoon full battar on tava nd spread thik.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green chilies nd tomato nd spread onion stripes on it.
  8. Put 1 tsp oil nd cover with a plate
  9. Cook both of sides. nd sarv hot
My Tip: Mustard tadka is must to perfect taste
