Chicken in achari masala

Ingredients to make Chicken in achari masala

  • Chicken 500 gm
  • Onion chopped 3
  • Green chili 2
  • Curd 1/2 cup whisked
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1tsp
  • Mango or any pickel 2 tsp
  • Dried red chillie 2
  • Panch phoron 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Chicken in achari masala

  1. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste curd salt red chilli powder garam masala and pickel for 45 min or overnight
  2. Add mustard oil in pan. Add dried red chilli hing and panch phoron
  3. Add the sliced onion and fry well till golden
  4. Mix in the marinated chicken some salt. Fry well.
  5. Add green chilies. Cover and cook for 20 to 25 min.
  6. Check the chicken done
  7. Serve hot with roti naan or as accompaniment to biryani
