Ingredients to make Apple basundi

  • Milk- 500 ml, aplle- 3 medium size, cardamom-2, saffron- 1 spoon, soaked almond- 10 nos, soaked cashews- 10 nos, honey- 3 spoon (optional)

How to make Apple basundi

  1. 1. Take 500ml full cream milk and pour into fresh non stick kaday don't add water heat the milk after 10 minutes stir the milk slowly and maintain the medium and low flame. And milk will be a thick consistency.
  2. 2.peel out the apples and take a empty plate and pour 1/4 cup milk into the plate. And grate the apples. ( if you don't add milk on the planet the grated apples turns into brown colour. )
  3. Milk adding purpose is we can maintain grated apple natural colour and teast.
  4. 3. Add grated apple with heat milk . Mix well and apple should cook with milk 3 to 4 minutes. Maintain medium flame.
  5. 4. Finally add cardamom powder and saffron and peel out the soaked almond and cashews break into small pieces and add with that and mix well. After 1 minute switch off the flame. Apple basundi is ready to eat.
  6. 5. If you want extra sweet Before the serve you can add honey.
My Tip: This recipe is a perfect for diabetes. Home made sugar less sweeeeeet.
