Saffron Pistachio Kheer

Ingredients to make Saffron Pistachio Kheer

  • Milk 1 litre
  • Basmati rice 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 5 Tablespoons
  • saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Pistachios 2 tablespoons
  • Rose petals to garnish

How to make Saffron Pistachio Kheer

  1. Rinse and soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Bring the milk to boil and add in the rice.
  3. Simmer on low heat until the rice is cooked.
  4. Add in the sugar, saffron and pistachios.
  5. Cook until the kheer thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with rose petals and pistachios.
