Ingredients to make Muhalabia

  • Milk-2 cups
  • Sugar-5tbsps
  • Corn starch-2 tbsps
  • Rose water/Rose essence-1tsp
  • Topping
  • Dates/Honey/Pista/Jam

How to make Muhalabia

  1. Mix milk,sugar and corn starch well and boil.
  2. Keep stirring to avoid formation of lumps.
  3. Switch off flame once its boiled and thickened as well.
  4. Stir in rose water/essence.
  5. Pirs into bowls or canisters or glasses.
  6. Let it cool and set at room temperature.Then refrigerate atleast for an hour before serving.
  7. Serve with your choice of topping of pista..dates..honey or jam.
  8. Yum.
My Tip: You can also add gulkhand in the mixture.
