ABOUT Healthy Malpua RECIPE

Malpua made with whole wheat flour(atta) & sooji. Jaggery also used hence this dessert is healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole wheat flour(atta) : 3 Cups
  2. Sooji : 1 Cup
  3. Grated Jaggery : 2 Cups
  4. Curd : 1 tbsp
  5. Milk : 2 Cups
  6. A pinch of salt
  7. Sugar : 1/2 Cup
  8. Water : 1/2 Cup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add atta, sooji, grated jaggery, curd, milk, pinch of salt and ghee.
  2. Whisk and keep aside for 6 hours.
  3. Heat little ghee in a non-stick pan. Pour 1 tbsp batter & make a small pan cake.
  4. Shallow fry till both the sides are evenly brown.
  5. Sugar syrup is made by boiling 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 cup water. Get a 1 string consistency. Dip in warm sugar syrup.
  6. Serve with Rabri.
