Ingredients to make Paneer stuffed malai parwal

  • 250 gram pointed gourd or Parwal
  • 100 gram paneer
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp fresh malai
  • 1 tbsp chesew nuts powder
  • 1 /2 tsp black paper powder
  • 1/2 tsp white paper
  • 3-4 finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 spring of curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp corriender leaves
  • 2 tbsp Desi ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Pinch of asafoetida
  • salt to taste

How to make Paneer stuffed malai parwal

  1. Wash, Peel and slit the pointed gourd and keep aside,
  2. Meanwhile prepare stuffing
  3. Grate the paneer add black paper,white paper , half of green chillies, corriender leaves and give it a mix
  4. Fill half of stuffing in pointed gourd which have been slit earlier
  5. In a pressure cooker add ghee, cumin seeds, remaining half green chillies , asafoetida and curry leaves and cook for couples of seconds
  6. Place the stuffed pointed gourd in cooker
  7. Now add milk,curd , malai, chesew nuts powder, little salt, and the leftover stuffing into it
  8. Close the lid of cooker and cook for half whistle
  9. Let the pressure release, open the lid,
  10. Paneer stuffed malai parwal is ready to serve with chapati, or naan

My Tip:

Half whistle is enough,otherwise it will be overcook
