About Palak paneer Recipe

Cottage cheese cooked in spicy spinach gravy which is a popular north indian cuisine enjoyed with indian flat breads.

Palak paneer

Ingredients to make Palak paneer

  • 500gm spinach
  • 200gm Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 3-4 slit green chillies
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1tsp ginger
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 2tbsp Cooking oil
  • A bunch of fenugreek leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • water
  • salt to taste

How to make Palak paneer

  1. Add washed and chopped spinach and fenugreek leaves into the wok and saute. Add water if necessary.
  2. Cover and cook on a slow fire till spinach and fenugreek leaves are cooked and mash them.
  3. Add the panir cubes and the spices. Bring it to boil and remove.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander.

My Tip:

You can garnish the palak paneer toppled with malai or fresh cream.
