Ingredients to make spinach dilite/palak burfi

  • spinach 1/2cup
  • Milk 3cups
  • BUTTER 1TBSP
  • Cardmom powder 1/2tsp
  • Milk powder 2tbsp
  • sugar 3tbsp or as per taste
  • Cashews for garnish
  • Chopped almonds 2tbsp

How to make spinach dilite/palak burfi

  1. Wash and blanch spinach in hot water for few minuts
  2. Drain extra water from spinach and leave for 5minuts
  3. Heat butter in a pan add blanched spinach and cardmom powder in it and saute
  4. Add milk in it and cook ,stir contineously
  5. After few minuts add chopped almonds and sugar in it
  6. Add milk powder and cook it till milk get fully reduced
  7. After soMe time mixture starts leaving the pan At this stage turn of the flame
  8. Remove this mixture from pan to a greased plate and leave it for some time let it cool down and get set Properly
  9. Garnish with cashews ,cut in pieces and serve
