Ingredients to make Meethi Kachori

  • 1 cup sooji
  • 2 cups maida
  • 1/2 cup malai and 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup curd
  • All above ingredients are for dough
  • 2/3 cup dessicated coconut
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • All above ingredients are for stuffing
  • Oil or ghee to fry

How to make Meethi Kachori

  1. For the Dough-
  2. Combine 2 tbsp sugar, dahi and malai in mixer grinder and grind it or mix it well.
  3. Make dough with maida, sooji and dahi malai mix. If liquid gets finished then add little bit of milk to make dough like a kachori.
  4. For stuffing take a non stick pan add sugar and water and boil in high flame. When water gets boiled simmer flame and mix it continously till sugar dissolves.
  5. When sugar dissolves fully add dessicated coconut(dry roasted dessicated coconut with 2 tbsp of sooji till aromatic)
  6. Now take oil on palms and take a small ball from dough and roll and make a small poori with rolling pin.
  7. Put 1-1.5 tsp of stuffing in center of the poori and make like stuffed paratha or kachori. Use rolling pin to flatten the stuffed ball to make shape of kachori.
  8. Add oil in kadhai for frying and fry kachories in medium high flame.
