Yummy Mango Kheer

Ingredients to make Yummy Mango Kheer

  • Basmati Rice 2 cups
  • Milk 2 litre full cream
  • Mango Puree 1 cup
  • Condensed milk  200 grams
  • Blanched Almonds
  • Raisins 10-12
  • Pistachios 8-10
  • Cardamom 2-3 (crushed finely)

How to make Yummy Mango Kheer

  1. Wash and soak basmati rice for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Wash, cut mango and blend it in a blender to a smooth puree.
  3. In a heavy bottomed vessel, add milk and bring it to boil.
  4. Once it starts boiling add rice.
  5. Cook, stirring continuously until the milk is fully absorbed and the rice is cooked. Cook it on medium heat, for almost 45 minutes.
  6. Milk should be reduced and the malai should get absorbed by the rice. Add raisins and condensed milk.
  7. Cook stirring regularly until the consistency is thick.
  8. Lastly add crushed cardamoms and switch off the gas and the Rice Kheer is ready. 
  9. For Mango Rice Kheer allow it to cool, then add mango pulp and mix well. Garnish with pistachio and almonds.
  10. Refrigerate and serve Chilled.
