Ingredients to make Almond Kheer

  • almonds soaked in water - 20
  • Milk - 2 litres
  • water - 1 cup
  • butter - 1/2 teaspoon
  • sugar to taste

How to make Almond Kheer

  1. Peel the soaked almonds and chop 5 of them for garnishing.
  2. Grind the rest of the almonds with a cup of water.
  3. Heat butter in a pan, add the almond paste and saute it for about 2 minutes.
  4. Now, add milk to it and stir continuously.
  5. Cook it for some time.
  6. Add in sugar and cook until the milk becomes thick.
  7. Garnish it with the chopped almonds and serve it.
