Gobhi Ki Kheer (Cauliflower Pudding)

Ingredients to make Gobhi Ki Kheer (Cauliflower Pudding)

  • Gobhi small in size (250grams)
  • Milk 1 litre
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • sugar according to taste
  • kesar
  • Dry fruits
  • ghee

How to make Gobhi Ki Kheer (Cauliflower Pudding)

  1. Boil milk on low flame and add cardamom powder in it.
  2. Take a fresh gobhi, wash and clean.
  3. Grate the gobhi flower or cut into very small pieces.
  4. Then take a pressure cooker put grated gobhi, one pinch cardamom powder, 1 cup milk and 1 teasppon ghee and give a whistle once on full flame and another on low flame.
  5. When the cooker releases its pressure take spoon and mash the gobhi mixture and stir fry them in 2 tablespoon ghee.
  6. Now add this mashup fried gobhi, kesar in the boiling milk and stir well on low flame.
  7. When the mixture turne thick, switch off the flame and add sugar and stir.
  8. When it cools down garnish with kesar, dry fruits and freeze it to enjoy your delicious dessert.

My Tip:

You must add ghee when you whistle the gobhi and milk in pressure cooker otherwise it will overflow through whistle.
