ABOUT Malai Reshmi Murgh RECIPE

A delicious party chicken cooked in khoya, curd, milk and cream.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken 1 kilogram (with bones)
  2. Onion 3 big sliced
  3. Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons
  4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  5. Red chilli powder 1.5 teaspoon
  6. Coriander powder 2 teaspoon
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Khoya 1/2 cup
  9. Curd 1 cup fresh
  10. Fresh milk 2 cup
  11. Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Green cardamom 5
  13. Clove 4
  14. Cinnamon 1 inch stick
  15. Cashew nut 8-10 piece
  16. Fresh cream 3 tablespoon
  17. Ghee 4 tablespoon
  18. Kewra water 2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee, add sliced onions and cook till golden brown.
  2. In the mixer add fried onions, garam masala, cashew nut, curd and grind finely.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add half cumin seeds, ginger garlic pieces and saute.
  4. Add chicken pieces and saute till the chicken is slightly golden in color.
  5. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, crumbled khoya and half quantity milk.
  6. Add salt and stir fry chicken till it leaves oil.
  7. Add the grounded masala in chicken with the remaining milk and cook on slow heat till done.
  8. Add kewra water, cream and cook covered for few minutes.
  9. Serve with naan.
