Ingredients to make Microwave Chocolate Cake

  • Maida : 1 cup
  • Pwd Sugar : 1/2 cup or to taste
  • cocoa powder : 6 tbsp
  • little Sour Curd : 4 tbsp
  • baking soda : 1/2 tsp
  • Water : 160 ml
  • Oil : 8 tbsp
  • Nutella spread : 1 tbsp
  • pineapple jam : 1 tbsp
  • Chocolate chips : 1/2 cup
  • dairy milk Chocolate : 2

How to make Microwave Chocolate Cake

  1. Take curd & baking soda in a bowl and mix well. Keep aside till it foams well.
  2. Take maida and cocoa powder in another bowl and mix well.
  3. Take water in a microwave safe bowl and heat it for 1 minute. Take it out of the microwave and add sugar, oil and mix well till sugar dissolves properly.
  4. Add in the curd mixture and mix well.
  5. Now mix this liquid mixture in the maida mix and mix well so that no lumps are formed. Add in nutella, jam and mix well. Add in the chocolate chips and mix well.
  6. Now grease the microwave safe bowl and dust it with flour properly.
  7. Now pour 1/2 the batter in the bowl and top it with half of the chopped chocolate don't mix, now pour the remaining batter and the remaining chocolate pieces. Don't mix.
  8. Pop it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Leave it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
  9. Take it out and cool it completely, when it is cooled completely invert it on the plate.
  10. Serve as it is or with a scoop of ice cream.

My Tip:

You can use any jam, don't add atta instead of maida it will make the cake dense and the taste will change. This cake is very soft and chocolaty so there are chances that it might break when you take it out of the bowl.
