Ingredients to make Homemade Italian Seasoning Paneer .

  • full fat milk 1 litre
  • curd 1/4 cup(optional)
  • lemon juice 2-21/2 tablespoon(optional)
  • white vinegar 2 tablespoon (optional)
  • mixed Italian herbs 1 tablespoon
  • salt as per taste

How to make Homemade Italian Seasoning Paneer .

  1. Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan.
  2. When milk comes to boil lower the flame add sour curd/lemon juice/white vinegar.
  3. I used curd and 1Tbsp lemon juice as curd is not enough sour.
  4. Curd gives a soft texture to the paneer.
  5. Any of the above mention ingredients can be used to make paneer .
  6. Stir once and leave on low flame.
  7. As milk curdles turn off the flame.
  8. Transfer the coagulated milk to muslin cloth and strain the way.
  9. Be cautious while pouring milk into cloth as its very hot.
  10. Tie the cloth and hang for 5 minutes.
  11. Transfer the paneer into palte add Italian seasonings and mix with spoon properly.
  12. Don't mix herbs with your hands as paneer is still hot.
  13. When all the herbs mix well transfer again to the muslin cloth.
  14. Take a colander place a plate under it.
  15. Place the muslin cloth in the colander and put heavy weight over it.
  16. I used 5 kilograms rice bag.
  17. Let it rest for 30 minutes to set.
  18. After 30 minutes take out the herbed paneer from the muslin cloth.
  19. Cut into cubes and serve with sauce of your choice.
  20. Refrigerate in airtight container for 2 days.

My Tip:

Any indian hrebs can be used.
