Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 litre milk
  2. 3/4 cup Sugar
  3. 2-3 tablespoon vinegar
  4. 2 teaspoon rose essence
  5. 3 pieces cardamom powder
  6. 1 tablespoon maida

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in a pan.
  2. Bring milk to boil and add vinegar.
  3. Milk will start curdling. At this point put cold water in curdled milk and strain in a cotton cloth.
  4. Hang the cloth to the tap of kitchen, after 1 hour take out all the water by squeezing the chenna.
  5. Rub with your palms for 10 minutes.
  6. While rubbing add maida and mash the chenna again.
  7. Make balls of chenna and put the balls in boiling sugar syrup.
  8. Cook till 30 minutes and balls will puff.
  9. Leave them at room temperature and add cardamom powder and rose essence and put in refrigerator.
