Ingredients to make Blueberry Icecream Sandesh

  • 1 litre milk
  • One tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dry blue berry
  • 2 tablespoon whipped cream
  • 4 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Little bit butter for greasing
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour

How to make Blueberry Icecream Sandesh

  1. Boil milk in a pan and add lemon juice.
  2. When it starts curdling add chilled water.
  3. Now drain it in a muslin cloth and you get chenna or Indian cottage cheese.
  4. Hang it for ten minutes.
  5. Mash the chenna till they become soft in texture.
  6. Take blue berry add one teaspoon hot water and keep aside.
  7. Now add cornflour and powdered sugar in chenna.
  8. Add whipped cream and blue berry. Mix altogether.
  9. Add half teaspoon vanilla essence.
  10. Take a square mould grease it with butter, pour the chenna mixture in it.
  11. Set it in equal level.
  12. Cover it with aluminium foil and cook in steam for 20 to 25 minutes.
  13. Let it cool down completely.
  14. Keep in fridge for two hours.
  15. Make pieces of desired shapes as you like.
  16. Serve chilled.

My Tip:

Use within two days of preparation.
