ABOUT Suji Bread Rolls RECIPE

These rolls are made with bread and a spicy filling of potatoes and veggies are used. This is a perfect snack for any house party.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread slices 8
  2. Suji 3 tbsp
  3. Boiled grated potatoes 3 medium
  4. grated carrots 1/2 cup
  5. Grated capsicum 1/2 cup
  6. Boiled peas 1/2 cup
  7. Chopped Green Chillies 2
  8. Chopped Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  9. Broken cashews 2 tbsp
  10. Dried mango powder 1/2 tspn
  11. Garam masala 1/4 tspn
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
  13. Coriander powder 1/2 tspn
  14. Salt to taste
  15. oil

Instructions

  1. For filling: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok.
  2. Add cashews, carrot, capsicum, green chillies and peas and saute it.
  3. Next add potatoes. Also add all the dry spices and salt.
  4. Stir fry it. Add chopped coriander leaves and keep the mixture aside to cool.
  5. Take a bread slices and remove the corners.
  6. Take water in a bowl. Dip a slice into it and instantly take it out and press the slice so that water is squeezed out.
  7. Place a spoonful of filling on the bread and seal it as shown in the picture.
  8. Do it for all the remaining slices.
  9. Now take suji in a plate and coat the rolls in it.
  10. Deep fry all the rolls on medium flame.
  11. Serve hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.
