Paneer Tikka Naaza

Ingredients to make Paneer Tikka Naaza

  • For dough:
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • For paneer marination:
  • 250 grams paneer cubes
  • 3 teaspoon hung curd
  • ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • oregano
  • parsley
  • red chilli powder
  • salt
  • For gravy:
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • salt
  • red chilli powder

How to make Paneer Tikka Naaza

  1. Mix all ingredients for the dough and knead nicely to make a smooth dough. Apply oil and keep aside for few minutes.
  2. Marinate paneer in all the ingredients mentioned above and keep aside for sometime. In a pan, add little butter and saute paneer till little dry.
  3. For the gravy saute onion in 1 teaspoon butter and add tomato puree and dry masalas. Cook till dry, then add cream, mix and turn off the gas.
  4. For naan: Roll a ball of dough in desired shape. Apply olive oil or butter and grill in oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 5 minutes. (don't overdo) (you can prepare this and keep for a day also).
  5. Now apply butter on it, spread tomato sauce, the gravy, paneer, grated cheese(I prefer cheese spread) sprinkle chilli flakes, oregano and grill in oven at 180 degrees for around 7-10 minutes. Serve hot and crisp :yum:
