Kaddu( Red pumpkin) ka kheer

Ingredients to make Kaddu( Red pumpkin) ka kheer

  • 250 gm red pumpkin(boiled and mashed)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2-3 tp ghee
  • Elaichi powdwer 1/2 tp
  • Dalchini powder 1/2 tp
  • Dry fruits(what ever you like)Kaju,kismis,badam etc
  • Few rose petals
  • 500 ml milk(thickened)

How to make Kaddu( Red pumpkin) ka kheer

  1. In a thick hot pan add ghee.
  2. Then,add mashed pumpkin,stirr well.
  3. Fry it well,then add sugar and dry fruits.
  4. Stirr it till all sugar melt.
  5. Now,add milk,dalchini powder,elaichi powder.
  6. Stirr occasionally.
  7. When you notice that pumpkin had mixed well with milk and a little bit thick consistency has formed.It is done.
  8. Pour it in a dish decorate with dry fruits,rose petals.
  9. Serve chilled or hot.
