ABOUT Rice kheer RECIPE

Rice kheer is a very famous sweet dish which is made from rice, milk, sugar and lots of dry fruits. You can eat it in both the ways cold and hot, it will always give a yummy taste.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 litre Milk
  2. 1 cup Rice
  3. Sugar as per taste
  4. 1/2 tablespoon Cardamom powder
  5. Saffron
  6. Chopped dry fruits (almonds and pistachios)

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan, add milk and start boiling.
  2. Dissolve saffron into half cup of milk.
  3. When milk start boilings add rice.
  4. Keep stirring it, so that the rice should not stick to the surface of the pan.
  5. When rice is cooked almost 90% add saffron milk.
  6. Add cardamom powder.
  7. Add sugar and then dry fruits.
  8. Your kheer is almost ready cook for 10 minutes and switch off the stove
  9. Kheer is ready to serve hot or chilled as per your choice.
