China grass well known as agar-agar is a type of gelatin extracted from sea weed.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. China grass-5grams
  2. Milk-2cups
  3. Water-3/4cup
  4. Sugar-3/4cup
  5. Cardamon powder-1/2tablespoon (optional)
  6. Almonds and Pistachios - for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take 3/4th cup water and add china grass and let it soak for 10-20 minutes.Than take the soaked china grass along with water and let it boil until the china grass melts and mixes with water.
  2. In a pot take milk, add sugar and start boiling it. Than add the china grass water to the milk.
  3. Boil it for 5-6 minutes, than pour the milk to different shape bowls. Let the milk cool than put it in refrigirator for 3-4 hours or till it sets.
  4. Finely garnish it with almonds and pistachios. Serve chilled.
