Ingredients to make Oats, Sprouts and Vegetable Dumplings in Cheese Sauce.

  • For Cheese sauce.
  • Milk 2 cups
  • water 1/2 cup
  • Butter / clarified butter 3 teaspoon
  • wheat flour 2 teaspoon
  • Cheese Cubes grated 2
  • carrot grated 1 tablespoon
  • Beans stir fried 2 tablespoon
  • Dried parsley 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Dumplings
  • Oats 1/2 bowl
  • Milk 1 bowl
  • water 1/2 bowl.
  • potato 1 ( boiled)
  • spinach Chopped 1/ 2 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • Mixed Sprouts ( I took chana + Math ( Moth) 1 cup
  • gram flour 2 tablespoon
  • sooji 3 tablespoon
  • garlic crushed 1 teaspoon
  • ginger grated 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • sesame seeds roasted 1 tablespoon
  • curd 3 teaspoon
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • Boiled Chicken / Chicken nuggets chopped 1 bowl

How to make Oats, Sprouts and Vegetable Dumplings in Cheese Sauce.

  1. To make Cheese Sauce:
  2. Heat butter / clarified butter in a pan, add wheat flour.
  3. Stir for 2 minutes. Add hot milk + half cup Water. ( we don't want very thick sauce)
  4. Let the sauce boil, season with salt and pepper. Turn the gas off. Keep the sauce aside.
  5. Now mix water and milk with oats and transfer in a pan to cook. Let them cook for 5 to 7 minutes stirring in between. Let the mixture get thick.
  6. Now take a plate. Take chopped spinach. Coarse grind the sprouts and add.
  7. Now add sooji, gram flour and cooked oats.
  8. Add grated carrot and all masala mentioned. Add curd and oil. Adjust salt. Add chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Mix everything and form a dough. Add water only if required.
  10. Now make dumplings and steam for 8 to 10 minutes or till the toothpick comes clear.
  11. Now your dumplings are ready, your cheese sauce is ready. Add grated carrots and grated cheese to the sauce.
  12. Here is your cheese sauce.
  13. Now we will serve them. Take steamed dumplings in a serving plate.
  14. Pour cheese sauce over it.
  15. Now spread some more cheese sauce, spread sauted beans.
  16. Microwave for 30 seconds.
  17. Serve with garnish of parsley.
  18. To make non vegetarian version add boiled chicken pieces or chopped chicken nuggets while serving. ( I have used Chicken nuggets to give a little crunch.

My Tip:

You can make less or more Cheese sauce according to your requirements. Take other ingredients in proportion to that. A brunch recipe, can be made non vegetarian.
